via Daily Prompt: Rhythmic When I hear Good morning, I begin a hum of ‘Hallelujah belongs to You’ The song’s title is “You Deserve It.” It is a praise and worship song with an easy rhythm and simple words. I spent some time recently reading the words to a poem by Doctor Maya Angelou, “Still I Rise.” This is the basis for these 100 words and prompt. The prayers that follow “Good Morning” from our group of intercessory prayer warriors is my incentive to move forward the rest of the day. This is my rhythmic soul of revelation and rise.
via Daily Prompt: Underground I found this picture that I had stored and decided to write about being delivered from an underground situation. This is a victory for my vision and also words of encouragement. I recently had a life changing revelation that helped me come out of an underground spirit of grief and anger. I found myself sharing how I had really allowed anger keep me away from looking to the Lord as my rock and refuge. I write this to someone who is awake in these midnight hours. I hope you are able to come up on top!
It is Monday and I did a review of my Vision board and found that “serve” had fallen out of place. I thought about the fact that I had not noticed this although I keep the board in view in my work room. When I look at seriousness of vision and service, I find my focus to write and repost this board with serve being placed back at the top along with love, dream, lead and joy. I started today with the understanding that I must make a difference in the serious matters of my transformation.via Daily Prompt: Seriousness
This is my idea of lush as in the definition of “producing abundantly.” I know that you will zoom in on the eight slices of lemon pie but this picture was taken because of the Amazing Grace pot with the beautiful centerpiece flowers. I am amazed at how we were provided with substitute and real sugar, lemons, and hot and cold tea as we took on more food than we needed but we did not refuse any of the provisions. I had my first encounter at the Guest House at Graceland and enjoyed the lush atmsphere.via Daily Prompt: Lush
via Daily Prompt: Heard I heard you the first time! These words are sometimes used in love, anger, hate, pain, happiness, grief and grace. I have been writing about listening well and so I add my “hear” story. When I was younger, I heard a wise woman say to always pause after speaking to my elders so that they can process what they heard and prepare their answer. I now understand these WWOW statements so much better as I meet the elder status. I decided to post words again from my “Survivor” article from three years ago in Divine Magazine.
via Daily Prompt: Craft This picture shows my need to practice my craft of writing one hundred words and have you understand my pain. The definition of craft is “special skill.” I was on my way to an event called “Live! Just As We Are” and saw the blue lights behind me. I have been fortunate to have only two tickets in fifty years driving so I pulled my license and prayed for grace and mercy. I decided to say nothing and use the craft of listening well without giving excuses. I received a courtesy warning and a lesson learned.
via Daily Prompt: Recognize There is a beautiful feeling when someone you have not seen in a while calls out your name in a crowed event. A smile came across my face when a friend said, Hi Dr.Wy. Our prayer group had talked about meeting others in our day travels to give the gift of a smile and touch. The recognition, the smile and the hug in front of a room full of people was a sweet memory for the day. There is a term I have heard people say to make a point. They will say, “you better recognize.”“
